Franklin J. 'Red' Fleck
Apr 16, 2018Red was born in Ari, Indiana on Dec. 29, 1936 to the late Elmer and Edna (Waugh) Fleck. Red attended Covington High School and on May 9, 1964, he married the love of his life, Joyce (Brownfield) Fleck, who survives. He proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was a firefighter for the Covington Fire Department for 10 years. Throughout the years, he was a farmer, truck driver, and worked at the Covington Co-op. He was always tinkering and loved talking to people, taking walks, enjoyed cross word puzzles, watching westerns and game shows, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Joyce Marie Fleck, of Veedersburg; two daughters, Mary (David) Jinkins and Rebecca (Michael) Wilson, both of Veedersburg; nine grandchildren, Jamee Bulington, Jodee Ortiz, Jeff Bulington, Thomas Arnholt, Dylan (Breanna) Wilson, Kristin (Joshua) Delks, Tamar, Jessica and Jeremiah Jinkins; 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Sam, Howard, and an infant brother; one sister, Nancy Snyder; 2 daughters, Barbara Arnholt and Pam Bulington; one grandchild; and one great grandson, Samuel James Wilson.Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First Street, in Kingman. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Pastor’s Tom Hunter and Dylan Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.
